Environmental impact assessment (EIA) is the process of identifying the type of environmental hazard, its intensity, impact on the natural environment and human habitat. Full EIA monitoring includes not only examining the impact on the external environment of a project, but also identifying alternative economic activities, examining the environmental and resource potential of an area, and compiling EIA reports.
According to legal requirements, an EIA project for the analysis of the negative impact is developed for each production or processing facility under construction and must be approved by an expert authority. The development of the EIA project and the environmental impact assessment of the project are aimed at identifying and preventing adverse environmental impacts of economic activities, and at developing and implementing environmental protection measures with the participation of environmental users' investments.
One of Enertek's main areas of environmental activity is the development of environmental impact assessment projects. Leading specialists from Enertek's Environment Department are involved in the development of these projects.
Enertek's reliability in developing and approving EIA projects is demonstrated by the fact that all developed projects have been approved and have received positive environmental experts opinions, both regionally and nationally.
